Mobilevideo for iPod transforms your videos to the iPod format. Unlike many video converters, It terms of simplicity, it really can't be beat although this also gives the impression that it's rather flimsy. The conversions themselves vary in quality and efficiency and you may even find that some supposedly supported types don't in fact work at all.

At the start of the program you're offered three options - the first two relate to converting the files into iPod format and from DVD to Mp4. The last option is an editor for slideshows and whilst the first two options are free, the latter you are only allowed to evaluate unless you want to pay for the full version. It's worth doing if slideshow creation is important to you because otherwise you get pestered by a box every 30 seconds warning you that it's evaluation only.

One of the simplest iPod converters on the market with a huge range of supported formats but don't expect it to perform error free conversions on them all.
